Manolis Stavrakakis is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Architectural Association (The Architecture of Linear B) under the supervision of Mark Cousins (Director of studies) and Spyros Papapetros. He was born in Heracleion (Crete) in 1981. He has studied architecture at the National and Technical University of Athens, School of Architecture (BA, Diploma, MA), at the Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation, Columbia University (MSc. in Advanced Architectural Design). He has been practising as an architect and teaching architecture since 2005 in Herakleion, Athens and London.
