Gabriela Garcia de Cortazar is a PhD candidate at the AA. She studied architecture at the University of Chile (2006) and obtained an MA in Architectural History from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, UK (2010). She has worked as an architect in Chile, has taught both in Chile and the UK, and has exhibited in Santiago, London and Rome. She is currently in her third year of the PhD at the Architectural Association, London (director of studies: Mark Cousins) with a scholarship from the Chilean government.
